Hailing from rural Vermont, Chyenne Rielly is practised in glamorizing the strange and uncomfortable. Their art embraces a child-like imagination to materialize their complex struggle to survive the mundane. For Chyenne, every painting feels like a diary entry gone off the rails.

Chyenne's illustrative paintings often explore themes of mental health and queer identity through self-portraiture. In May of 2022, Chyenne earned a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Art in Painting from Maine College of Art & Design. Nowadays Chyenne hangs around their home studio listening to true-crime podcasts while sketching out their latest visions of docile shock and awe.
